HYDRA MARINE

Hydra Marine provides RDT&E support for unmanned and autonomous maritime systems for defense and government missions. Informed by operational experience within the Naval Special Warfare community, the company operates a dedicated unmanned training and experimentation facility with a company-operated fleet to support realistic on-water training, system evaluation, and concept development.

The team focuses on transitioning emerging maritime technologies into operationally relevant platforms and environments, with capabilities spanning system development, engineering, fabrication, integration, testing, mission planning, unmanned and autonomous experimentation, at-sea testing, force protection, and autonomous-ready test vessels. These efforts support iterative experimentation and evaluation while reducing technical risk.

Mission-aligned infrastructure and technical expertise are provided to support government and industry stakeholders across the technology maturation lifecycle. Organizations supported include the U.S. Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWCPC), Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), the San Diego Police Department, and other defense and public safety organizations.
